We've long known the powers music can play on our state of mind, but new research has found that music can even make food taste better.
Known as 'Sonic Seasoning', Oxford's Professor Spence's study found that specific music can make food appear up to ten per cent more sweet or salty.
In response to this, British Airways have designed a playlist to compliment different courses of their menu. Sonic seasoning also has an effect on drinking wine, with classical and rock music said to enhance perception of quality and depth of flavour.
