GCSE Maths getting tougher

8th September 2014

Just in; Maths has knocked English off top as the most popular A-level. Will this remain the case with the new, tougher GCSE exams?

Take the test to see how you'd do.

The Maths exams will include a new section on ratio, proportion and rates of change and will also require students to learn formulas by heart –when previously, they would have been written on the paper.

The new syllabus is designed to get pupils answering “real world problems”, including financial mathematics, and ensure the area is covered in greater depth.
