25th April 2014

Today, we have an algebra riddle to kick start some more Maths revision.

You can only use the three same numbers.

Now:

1 1 1 = 6

2 2 2 = 6

3 3 3 = 6

4 4 4 = 6

5 5 5 = 6

6 6 6 = 6

7 7 7 = 6

8 8 8 = 6

9 9 9 = 6

How did you do? Here's the answer;

(1+1+1)! = 6

2+2+2= 6

(3x3) – 3 = 6

√4 + √4 + √4 = 6

(5/5) +5 = 6

6 -6 + 6 = 6

7 – (7/7) = 6

Cube root of 8 + cube root of 8 + cube root of 8 = 6
